Spring 2012
Welcome to spring – Census has been a true effort, on behalf of Girlguiding Cymru – well done to you all!
Girlguiding UK’s new membership figures released recently revealed that we grew by one member every hour in the past year and there has been an increase of 8,247 members during the past 12 months, which means Girlguiding is where the girls are choosing to be. Let’s get Wales at the top of the list and celebrate how good Girlguiding Cymru is now and in the future.
Make 2012 a good year to enjoy any of the events you attend. Don’t forget to book your Rainbows into the 25th Birthday Extravaganza at Broneirion, our big party is on the 12th May, so book now to ensure you don’t miss this fantastic event. As Counties you may be holding your own parties, I know you will have a great time at these events too.
We have lots of fun and exciting activities available to everyone during 2012 and indeed next year too, but all of these events are taster events as we lead up to 2014 for the Brownie Centenary!!!
So Go Girls and have a good time…… I will see you all soon.
Best Wishes
