Walking Training October 2010

Are you interested in taking your girls out for walks? If so, you may be interested in attending a weekend for either Approved level 1 or 2 Training or the Level 2 assessment, taking place from 29th-31st October, 2010.

Rainbows Go Wild

A badge is now available to buy to celebrate “Rainbows Go Wild 2010″ which will be taking place during the Summer months at 10 different zoos across the UK . Rainbows will be able to experience the magic of seeing different animals and take part in special Rainbow activities and games. The badges are on sale at a cost of £1 each and can be ordered from The Lodge, Broneirion, Llandinam, Powys. SY17 5DD

Hats for Haiti

Girlguiding Cymru challenges ALL units to hold a “Hats for Haiti” evening to raise money to help the people of Haiti following the devastating earthquake. Challenge girls to wear a hat for the evening for a small sum of money – prizes could be given for the best decorated, most unusual, etc……
Bristol area Guides have produced a badge which can be bought in aid of Haiti. The Guider, Rachel Flook, is asking for a minimum donation of £2 per badge. The money will be donated via Unicef to help the people of Haiti……
