Hats for Haiti

Girlguiding Cymru challenges ALL units to hold a “Hats for Haiti” evening to raise money to help the people of Haiti following the devastating earthquake. Challenge girls to wear a hat for the evening for a small sum of money – prizes could be given for the best decorated, most unusual, etc. The first batch of money will be sent at the end of March. Please make cheques payable to Girlguiding Cymru and send to The Lodge, Broneirion, Llandinam, Powys SY17 5DD.

Bristol area Guides have produced a badge which can be bought in aid of Haiti. The Guider, Rachel Flook, is asking for a minimum donation of £2 per badge. The money will be donated via Unicef to help the people of Haiti.

Cheques for minimum of £2 per badge, plus a SAE to return them, should be sent to:
